Average Week during the Preseason:

Monday-Friday

• Posting recruiting ads on campus and online sources
• Calling applicants
• Arranging interviews
• Setting up estimates
• Organizing marketing sessions.

Saturday-Sunday

• Performing marketing sessions (canvassing neighborhoods with team of hired marketers)
• Flier drops
• Placing lawn signs
• Performing estimates for potential clients
• Interviewing

Average Day during Spring Break:

7:00 Organize marketing supplies and estimating material for the day
8:00 Place recruiting ads at local high schools, universities, clubs etc.
9:00 Interviews
10:00 Flier drop with marketers
12:30 Lunch
1:00 Estimate #1
2:30 Estimate #2
4:00 Return messages, call prospective clients to schedule estimates, contact District Manager, paperwork, review applications from interviews.
5:00 Prospecting (canvassing door to door)
8:00 Call new leads acquired during prospecting

Average Day during the summer:

7:00 Get ready for day, organize your car and files for the day
7:30 Visit Sherwin Williams for materials needed for the day
8:30 Start Jobsite #1. Inspect site, set goals, restock paint and supplies.
9:30 Visit Jobsite #2. Same routine as above, help painters increase efficiency by showing them a demo.
11:00 Collect deposit check from the Callahan job
11:30 Paint test patch for Jones client
12:00 Lunch
12:30 Interview prospective painters
1:30 Admin work, call DM, return messages, do paperwork, review applications
2:30 Commercial estimate
3:30 Evaluate Jobsite #1, assess progress.
4:30 Evaluate Jobsite #2, daily clean up, collect the final payment and referral names from client.
5:30 Residential Estimate #1
7:00 Residential Estimate #2
8:30 Plan future production, contact crew members to plan tomorrow and determine materials needed.
